The Computer Concepts training course is offered through MoSTEMWINs and State Tech. MoSTEMWINs is a statewide, grant-funded training network that allows Missouri residents to obtain technical training in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

The course offers participants basic computer concepts and industry-recognized certifications in Microsoft Keyboarding, Office, Word and Excel. A National Career Readiness Certification, and a Certificate of Completion from State Tech will also be awarded upon successful completion.

Classes are held at various locations in Jefferson City and Columbia.

Participants are eligible for the course if classify as one of the following:

  • American citizens over the age of 18
  • Unemployed
  • Under-employed
  • Low-skilled
  • TAA affected.

Veterans Priority of Service applies to the MoSTEM programs of study at State Technical College of Missouri.

Equivalence exams to obtain credit for prior learning are available.
