Interested in working for a company like Toyota/Bodine, True Manufacturing, or one of a dozen other partner companies while you complete your education? That is exactly what you could do if you are admitted into this program!
You will receive a degree in Automation and Robotics Technology (we call it the Advanced Manufacturing Technician program or AMT) while taking classes two days a week at our St. Charles, Missouri campus. You also have the chance to get paid to work from one of our partner companies in the greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area the other three days a week.
This program is part of the Missouri Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (MOFAME) which is a partnership of regional manufacturers whose purpose is to implement dualtrack, apprenticeship-style training that will create a pipeline of highly skilled technicians. This curriculum offers hands-on, paid-work experience to equip graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in less than two years.
It is driven by an industry-education partnership that allows students to apply in the real world of manufacturing what they are learning in a very controlled classroom/lab environment. Successful students enter the workforce with more experience, less debt, and a significant advantage over other graduates.
This highly engaging program develops multi-skilled technicians who have the technical knowledge and abilities to perform well, communicate effectively, think critically and work in teams.
If you are looking for a way to work your way through school where you will actually apply what you are learning in the classroom in real time then the Advanced Manufacturing Technician program may be for you. To apply you must meet these application requirements.
