The program prepares students for the responsibilities of patient care. This hands-on curriculum equips students with the skills and training required to meet a patient’s needs.
The Practical Nursing Technology program is a 11-month program and includes clinical site, such as hospitals, clinics, and long term care facilities within Jefferson City and the surrounding areas. This equips graduates with the technical and personal skills needed to help return patients to satisfying independent lives.
Upon graduation and approval from the Missouri State Board of Nursing, program graduates are eligible for the NCLEX-PN examination. Passing NCLEX-PN examination is required to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.
