If so State Tech's Practical Nursing Technology program could be perfect for you!

The  program prepares students for the responsibilities of patient care. This hands-on curriculum equips students with the skills and training required to meet a patient's needs.

The Practical Nursing Technology certificate includes clinical site, such as hospitals, clinics, and long term care facilities within Jefferson City and the surrounding areas. This equips graduates with the technical and personal skills needed to help return patients to satisfying independent lives.

Upon graduation and approval from the Missouri State Board of Nursing, program graduates are eligible for the NCLEX-PN examination. Passing NCLEX-PN examination is required to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, State Tech is waiving the observation hours for the 2021 admission requirements.

The State Tech Practical Nursing Technology program has a scheduled survey visit with the Missouri State Board of Nursing for Fall 2019 .  In compliance with the survey visit guidelines, the following form is provided for public comments.
