Nursing Programs

State Tech offers two Nursing tracks. Please explore both options listed below.

Associate of Nursing (RN)

The Associate of Applied Science in Nursing program requires a LPN license before you can apply. This program prepares students for the responsibilities of patient care. This hands-on program equips students with the skills and training required to meet a patient’s needs. Upon graduation and approval from the Missouri State Board of Nursing, program graduates are eligible for the NCLEX-RN to become a registered professional nurse (RN).

Practical Nursing (LPN)

The program prepares students for the responsibilities of patient care. This hands-on program equips students with the skills and training required to meet a patient’s needs.  Upon graduation and approval from the Missouri State Board of Nursing, program graduates are eligible for the NCLEX-PN examination. Passing NCLEX-PN examination is required to become a Licensed Practical Nurse.
