State Technical College of Missouri is seeking a part-time tutor to join the Academic Resource Center team. Duties include assisting students with algebra and other course work such as trigonometry and possibly physics. Work schedule is up to 30 hours per week on Mondays through Thursdays from late September through early May.
Salary up to $15 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications: Demonstrated mathematics competency, successful completion of college algebra, and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree, tutoring or teaching experience, successful completion of trigonometry and/or physics classes or willingness to complete classes at State Tech free-of-charge after employment.
