State Technical College of Missouri has an opening for a full-time Welding Instructor to begin in August 2019. Duties include developing and teaching structural & pipe welding with related classes such as blueprint reading, thermal processes, hosting & rigging, welding inspection & testing, CNC plasma cutting, and robotic welding. Additional duties include student recruitment, advisement, and college service. Work hours will be during the afternoon and evening.
Required Qualifications: Three years welding work experience. Bachelor’s degree or the willingness to earn one. Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Pipe welding/fitting experience. Welding certification(s) Training experience.
