Stretch & Strength is a 45 minute gentle movement class with the option of using a chair, incorporating range of motion exercises, alignment, stretching, strengthening, breathing and relaxation. Stretch & Strength is designed to refresh, energize, improve posture and flexibility, increase muscle strength, deepen breathing and improve joint health, range of motion and function while reducing stress. This is a safe and slower-moving class designed for participants of all ages, with emphasis on learning poses, breathing, engaging the core and modifications as needed.
Certified as a mind-body specialist, Carla is excited to provide this yoga and pilates inspired class on Thursdays at noon in the Activity Center.
