A+ Scholarship
Who wouldn’t be interested in attending State Tech Tuition Free! You can thanks to the A+ Scholarship program. The A+ Scholarship provides standard tuition and fees for qualified students. The scholarship does not include program or class specific fees, books, tools or other classroom supplies.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I qualify for A+?
- Be a United States citizen or permanent resident
- Have your official A+ stamped high school transcript on file with the Admissions Office at State Tech
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- If you are Pell Grant eligible, the Pell Grant will be applied before A+ funds
- Enroll and attend State Tech full-time (12 or more credit hours, fall, spring and summer semesters)
- Be seeking a certificate or degree at State Tech
- A student must maintain a cumulative 2.50 grade point average or above
