State Tech Nominee wins Employer of the Year
State Tech’s nominee, Gina Mauller, won the Employer of the Year award from the Missouri Association for Career Services.
Mauller was nominated by State Technical College of Missouri’s Career Services Director, Glenda Whitney for her dedication to helping recent graduates find jobs across Missouri.
“I feel Ms. Mauller is very supportive of Career Services and a great asset to State Tech”, said Whitney. “Ms. Mauller is very deserving of this award because of all the support she has given us in the short time she has been associated with the college”.
Mauller has posted nearly 100 jobs for State Tech graduates. Mauller is the Director of Special Projects in the Office of Administration for the state of Missouri. She also serves on the Career Services Advisory Council for the college. Her dual roles provide her access to the resources she needs to help recent graduates find jobs.
State Technical College of Missouri is Missouri’s only state technical college. Hands-on technical courses balanced with a strong foundation in communication, problem solving, decision-making and critical thinking prepare graduates for profitable employment and a life of learning.
On July 1, 2014, State Technical College of Missouri’s name will change to the State Technical College of Missouri. This name change better reflects our statewide role in technical education.
