State Tech students advance to National SkillsUSA

Eleven State Technical College of Missouri students will represent the college at the National Leadership and Skills Conference held in Kansas City, Missouri June 23 – 27.

Over 60 State Tech students competed in 41 different contests during the 2012 Missouri Leadership and Skills Conference.

“The students represented the college very well in the contests they competed in,” said Aaron Kliethermes, State Tech SkillsUSA Chapter Advisor.  “I’m very proud of all our contestants.”

According to Kliethermes this year’s SkillsUSA members graduating from State Tech will be represented at the commencement ceremonies with honor cords and tassel.
