State Tech hosts counselors, awards $750 in tuition waivers
On Friday, October 21, State Technical College of Missouri (STC) welcomed high school counselors throughout the state of Missouri for the STC Counselor Forum. Those in attendance included A+ Coordinators, high school counselors and a career center counselor.
The goal of the forum was to provide counselors an opportunity to network and learn more about State Tech in an effort to help students with their college decisions.
The forum concluded with the awarding of door prizes, including two tuition waivers valued at $750 for counselors and coordinators to award to the student of each recipient’s choice.
Kerry Stengel, A+ program coordinator at Timberland High School in Wentzville, MO received the $500 tuition waiver. Keri Poehlman, counselor at Hermann High School in Hermann, MO won the $250 tuition waiver.
