State Tech invites future students to preview campus
On Saturday, October 29, State Technical College of Missouri will showcase high-tech equipment and facilities during ‘Must See STC’ on the main campus in Linn, Missouri.
‘Must See STC’ is a signature event to allow students, parents and community members the opportunity to visit the main campus, interact with current students and faculty, and see the state-of-the-art equipment and facilities at the college.
Check-in begins in the STC Activity Center from 7:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. All ‘Must See STC’ events will conclude at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
In addition to touring the campus, prospective students have the opportunity to take the COMPASS test, complete an admissions application and meet with State Tech representatives about financial aid, campus housing and career services. Starting at 11:00 a.m., a free barbeque is available for guests and visitors on the campus.
For planning purposes, participants are encouraged to register online at www.statetechmo.edu/mustsee . The COMPASS test is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. All students interested in taking the test must register online prior to arriving on campus. Also, a full schedule of the ‘Must See STC’ is available online.
With more than 35 programs, State Technical College of Missouri is Missouri’s only public two-year technical college with a statewide mission. STC has campuses in Linn, Mexico and Jefferson City. STC prepares students for profitable employment and a life of learning.
