Counseling Center Mission

The Counseling Center provides services which promote the health, safety and welfare of students through early intervention for personal and academic issues that affect student achievement and retention.
The Counseling Center works together with all faculty members in carrying out the counseling program at State Technical College of Missouri. Academic, social, and vocational concerns will be addressed in the Counseling Office. The counselors do not attempt to make decisions for students; rather, they seek to help students make responsible decisions for themselves.

The Counseling Center at State Tech assist students in making educational and personal decisions. If additional counseling services are required, the college staff will refer the students to qualified counselors off-campus.
